Hope we line up something like this tonight with Depay at LW Martial adt 9 slot , Mata on the right and drop Rooney to number 10.

The two mids protecting the back four doesn't even matter

Depay needs to get his form back. The last week he has been a bunging bag by the British media.

Word is Memphis is out injured tonight and won't feature at all.

LvG definitely needs to stop being so damn stubborn and drop Rooney back. I don't care if he does have the "most credits." RVP had a lot of "credits" too, and LvG shipped him off to exile in Turkey.

He's been in training so who knows. He was out injured Saturday.

Apparently he missed the team bus to pre match what ever.

the guardian football weekly podcast made a great comment about rooney, and that is LvG doesn't have the capital yet to bench him

RvP was a merc who only played a couple years for ManU before LvG sent him packing. it's not the same

Rooney has been ManU for a decade (and being the face of the English NT, mixed in with how the English overvalue their guys, it makes it difficult)

Wonder if Memphis went up to Daley Blind and told him something like: "Hey, man, tell your dad to shut the frick up."

I see that. I'm not even necessarily talking about benching him, just dropping him back into a deeper role. I mentioned RvP just because LvG has shown a tendency to be cold-blooded in making necessary moves. I think dropping Rooney back is a change most fans would actually like to see.

British media doesn't help at all with the acclimation of new players, especially at big clubs. They are under ridiculous scrutiny. Not everyone can handle it like a complete boss such as Anthony Martial

I mean shite i know it's daily mail but lets not pretend that some retards don't read it and perpetuate the stereotypes. They are calling Memphis the dutch Ravel Morrison

Halftime notes.
Ashley Young is playing well on D and going forward
Rojo's crosses have good shape and pace he just keeps his fricking head down so he has no idea where his crosses are going to end up, he never picks out a man to send the ball to.
Stop with the short corner kicks, during the normal run of play if we can't score from score from that area why put the ball in the same god damn spot.
I think we end up winning with all of the possession we've had in their half.

Well, Chris smalling was just moderately good, mistake prone defender.

Michael smalling is one of the best CBs in the league.

Dominate win yesterday.

Lingard growing and growing each game. Loved seeing not just two youth academy grads but two local guys.

Zee German was excellent again he completely controls the midfield.

And Mike Smalling brilliant just brilliant.

The fact we are not even in good form and are getting results keeping us close to the top is amazing. Once slip up by Arsenal or City and we are can take control.
