Manchester United coach Louis van Gaal has ruled out a return to Manchester United for Mexico striker Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernández, who is on-loan at Real Madrid until the end of the season.

“Chicharito’s future? I have sent him away already this season,” the Dutchman told British newspaper the Daily Star.

“I said the same as I said to [Danny ]Welbeck: 'You are again a substitute and I don't think that is good for you',” Van Gaal added about the striker, who scored a brace in Real Madrid’s 2-4 victory at Celta Vigo on Sunday.

Last week, ‘Chicharito’ also scored against Atlético Madrid, a goal that sent Madrid through to the semi-finals of the Champions League.

“When you score a goal - as he has just done for Real Madrid - are you suddenly different? I don't think so,” said Van Gaal.

However, the Dutch coach has left the door for Colombian Radamel Falcao, who is on-loan at United from Monaco, to sign a permanent contract at Old Trafford.

“I can't say the same to him. Falcao has the quality to play,” said Van Gaal, who has guided United to fourth in the Premier League with 65 points, 12 behind Chelsea and two behind Arsenal and Manchester City.

Van Gaal isn´t capable of whipping Falcao into shape?

RM need him, and he needs RM (Falcao).

Issue is Falcao is the ultimate poacher who just doesn't create his own chances.

He needs good service

Meh, I guess his blowing his knee out has put him in an irrecuperable situation.

Earlier in his career, he could create, and was strong off the ball with an accomplice (ie Diego Costa at Atleti), but I´m understanding that his quickness (more than speed) is now suspect to totally missing. Is this correct?

The games for United's summer tour have been announced. The location for the second game is TBD, but I'm going to guess it will be on the west coast due to the fact that the game before is in Seattle and the game after is in Santa Clara.

We'll give you Falcao if you leave de Gea alone.

Current form Falcao, I´m sure. That´s not the Falcao I´m referring to, however.

I guess I could have said we won't exercise our exclusive option to buy at the end of his loan period and will allow RM to buy him from Monaco if RM will leave de Gea alone

Wouldn't y'all rather make VV the starter then spend that money someplace else?

Surely they're paying Valdes to do more than be a U21 GK.

Not if LLoris is ready and willing. 5 years younger.

I really hope de Gea signs a contract. Rumor is 200k per week. I'm actually fine with paying that. How do you guys feel about it?

Heck yes. He has the potential to be the best GK in the world.

Rumors that PSG are going to put a bid in for DiMaria. If the offer 50million I say we cut our losses and sell him.

I'd be fine with that. Although part of me is curious if an offseason and extra time with the club/team would do wonders for him and he'd be better next season.

Either way, I wouldn't be upset.

I really hope he takes the offer. He's worth the money. I don't know that we're top 4 this season without him.

There is some news coming out that he is strongly considering it. Apparently, his family, if not his GF, want him to stay. Who knows? Will get interesting.
