This time, its the Warmest Welcome title.

The judges comments declared: "What we look for in a VisitFootball assessment are people skills and outstanding levels of customer service. Put simply, Manchester City are the gold standard in providing fans with the best matchday experience.

"Manchester City has created a strong sense of identity around the Etihad, they make it a destination that both home and away fans enjoy visiting.

"The vibrant stadium hub, CitySquare, with its excellent pre-match entertainment for supporters of all ages, is now established as a focal point for fans.

And if you are wondering what all this crap is,

Fans must really enjoy all the extra leg space

When I went to the City vs Chelsea FA cup match last year at the Etihad I noticed a few of these things. They had a stage with a band playing. An announcer that gave out prizes and t-shirts and stuff. A big square next to their shop that had restaurants and seating for fans.

It was pretty damn close to an NFL gameday experience. Very "Americanized". I can see how they would win this award.

I much preferred going to the pub and getting hammered and singing and walking to the game at Old Trafford though. Much more of a "local" feel if that makes any sense.

It's hard to be intimidated as a visiting fan when the home team fans don't show up.
