What type of teams are the big boys going to be fielding this year?

I assume that Brasil will be playing a lot of good players.

Will any other teams be giving it a go?

If not, Brasil should run away with it, no?

Neymar will play for Brazil

Ibra will play for Sweden

Other than that it's pretty much a bunch of kids. Olympic soccer isn't a big deal and most soccer powers don't take it that serious.

Yeah Ibra isn't playing. Neymar and Douglas Costa though for Brazil. The women do take it far more seriously though since it's a senior competition as opposed to U23. Will I still watch? Yeah, probably.

Once again there will be a dedicated soccer channel on a lot of providers (basketball has one too) in addition to games spread across the NBC Universal networks.

Rio being only one hour ahead of Eastern time will mean a crap ton of live coverage at decent hours.

Sorry bro it's not a big deal.

Id rather have our young guys in preseason camp or in MLS season with their clubs than dicking around in this tournament.

We should just field a college all star team in it and give them the chance to get discovered.

Most European powers don't take it that seriously, and they don't really take any youth tournaments outside of their own seriously.

The rest of the world takes it as seriously as any other youth tournament, and it's a decent watch.

That's the main channel I watched during the last Olympics and then checked out the big events online, since they usually weren't shown on live TV in the U.S.
