Brown now moves on to "the vexed question of the mythical concept of the club"

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 1h1 hour ago

Judge says that the "articles of association show Ranger started is a club"

Brown replies this changed when incorporated,

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 1h1 hour ago

Brown "A club can not sign contracts"

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 1h1 hour ago

Brown now quoting from Rangers incorporation document from 1889. Notes it says "takeover the assets" bit does not mention "club"

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 1h1 hour ago

Brown says if you wanted to by George Herriots FP (a rugby club in Edinburgh) you would just have to buy the assets.
quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 1h1 hour ago

Brown says that there is a difference between the company and the business assets but not between a "club and a company"

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 1h1 hour ago

Brown "Sevco Scotland did not buy "the club" the bought the business and assets of the club"

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 58m58 minutes ago

Brown Says a club is an "undertaking" of it's owners and as it "has neither capacity of personality" no-one can be CEO of it.

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 57m57 minutes ago

Brown "The idea someone can be CEO of an undertaking is just nonsense."
quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 55m55 minutes ago

"The team are paid by Sevco, play at a ground owned by Sevco trained by a manager who is employed by Sevco, fans buy tickets from Sevco"
1/2

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 55m55 minutes ago

"That is the business that is being carried on."

2/2

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 54m54 minutes ago

Brown says Rangers was "a basket of assets that could be sold," but these were not indivisible.

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 54m54 minutes ago

Brown "What is the players went one way and the ground another, where is the "club" then?
quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 54m54 minutes ago

Brown. "I realise that Rangers being the same club is a matter of life and death to some," 1/2

quote:

James Doleman ?@jamesdoleman 53m53 minutes ago

Wouldn't be a proper legal case without "the elephant in the room" getting mentioned 2/2

quote:

Grant Russell ?@STVGrant 17m17 minutes ago

CG lawyer: Difference between Rangers and Woolworths... Any Newco of Woolworths would have bought the undertaking. Not the personality.

I don't know:

1. Why Celtic fans care so much about this
2. Why they are happy about the demise of Rangers

Because that club was a stain on human history.

You confirm my opinion that Celtic fans are idiots. A 2nd club in the SPL was the only thing keeping the league and Celtic marginally relevant.

The Soviet Union kept Belarus relevant. Should Belarussians not celebrate the death of the Soviet Union?

Rangers FC was a hate group. It is now dead. The world is a better place for it.

celtic is basically dead, too except rangers is actually dead so celtic being dead without being dead is more embarrassing IMHO FWIW

So Rangers was the powerful successful one, but evil, and Celtic was the 2nd class underling. Now I get it.

Right. Celtic and their IRA arm are just as bad.

Are you from Glasgow?

Yes, some supporters who support the IRA are just as bad as a club that refused to sign a Catholic for over 100 years and fundraised for the UDA.

No one gives a shite. Jesus man give it a rest.

Do you get off on everyone on this board despising you? I'm starting to think that you do.

No one starts more rangers threads than you do. You care more about rangers than anyone else and it's pitiful.

They did it again

quote:

Celtic say fans who did not observe a Remembrance Sunday minute's silence have "embarrassed the club" and are "not welcome" at future games.
The Scottish champions beat hosts Ross County 4-1 in Dingwall.
"The silence was impeccably observed by the overwhelming majority of our fans as it always is," the club said.
"Clearly we are disappointed that a handful of individuals have chosen to embarrass the club and our supporters in this way."
The short statement ended: "These individuals are not welcome at Celtic."
Earlier, Celtic manager Ronny Deila had commented on the disruption during his post-match news conference, saying: "It is disappointing.
"I come from Norway and I don't know too much about these things, but it is something the club has to deal with."

Remember that forum someone linked to during one of the times he was banned? It was basically thread after thread of him talking to himself about Rangers or Celtic.

If he didn't slow down when he didn't have an audience, nothing will stop him.

If this isn't an automatic diagnosis of mental illness I don't know what is.
