They get up and punch Argentina in the mouth because they want to be and believe they belong on their level. The USMNT doesn't have that kind of desire.

Always difficult to play against the worlds best players! Now we focus on the next one which is the most important!! Thanks for the support!

frick that Aron. You play in a top European league, cut the fricking bullshite.

The discussion has to change from "let's try to keep it close with these guys" to "let's rip their hearts out through their dicks."

It's not happening under the guy who blames the refs and insults the fans for being mad at him for losing to Jamaica. Sunil Gulati doesn't have the balls to hold Jürgen responsible for his results. We're a huge country, we want to be a soccer country, let's stop just being happy to be invited to the grown up's table and start chugging the fricking gravy.

Hendo, I get what you're saying but we have guys with the fire and courage to go toe to toe with the "big boys". Bradley, jermaine, Geoff Cameron, Deuce, Fab Jo. These guys would never back down from top competition.
Tonight was simply a manager holding his team back and not allowing success.

The attitude starts from the top. We can have those guys but until they're backed to succeed, it won't matter.

Total brainfart. I honestly have not watched almost any Bundesliga this year. De Bruyne leaving really killed my ambition.

Let's be honest, both teams suck. It was fairly evident in the Gold Cup.

A friendly doesn't mean shite. Mexico will think they're awesome for a week or two because they were competitive with a squad that featured Messi, but it will wear off like it always does.

It really is too bad the USMNT has to play Mexico away at the Rose Bowl again though. Gonna be hostile.

I completely agree. I supported Jurgen because it looked like that was the direction he wanted to take us. I'm not at all in favor of sitting in the middle of these two mindsets, though.

Either we're still a nation with little boys just happy to meet the best or we're a side that doesn't give a shite who they're trying to hand a loss. I don't want to hear any "excitement" from people when we're playing a side with Ronaldo or Messi.

Anything in between just leads to a few guys looking to win, a few looking to "just hang in there", and a few looking for the best way to get to Zlatan to ask for his shirt after the match. We need to either set the bar high and accept some losses in the process or just admit that we aren't ready to step up to the big boys. Right now, I feel like we're trying to sit in the middle of those, and it's leading to disarray.

Mexico is pretty terrible. Let's not let our own issues gloss over the fact that they were laughably bad and got saved multiple times from elimination themselves. Mexico's is pretty much in the same boat in terms of how bad they're capable of looking on a given match day recently.

Geoff certainly backed down from Neymar last night....then decided to give him a free goal from the spot for his troubles.

Just looking at the backline, we really were set up for failure tonight. Cameron and Ream are strong but Orozco and Alvarado as legit options is a joke to me.

Brooks and Besler to me is the pairing that will have the most success together.

I would rather trot Parkhurst and Edgar Castillo out there at fullbacks over Cameron and Ream. Not because they're better because they're clearly not, but because it's so frustrating seeing Cameron/Ream playing fullback when they would be a great centerback pairing. Cameron started in the World Cup there FFS. I hate seeing guys blatantly out of position. And before anyone says it, yes I know Cameron plays RB for Stoke but we need him at CB for the national team.

And anyone who has watched him play RB knows he will struggle when matched against pace on the wings
