They've hired Huub Stevens to manage the team until June 2016 when Julian Nagelsmann will take over. Nagelsmann is currently coaching the 19 year olds and is only 28.
This could get interesting

What if Hoffenheim gets relegated this season?

Would probably make it a less stressful job for the young guy, to be honest. Hoffenheim doesn't seem to me like a team that would stay down long if they were relegated.

Who gives a shite about some plastic club that has been plastic since "1899"

Meh, the German outrage over Hoffenheim is pretty stupid IMO. It's not like they're RB Leipzig.

When you're already irrelevant, what do you have to lose?

It is just goes against the grain of the German Soccer culture. The only reason people "tolerate" Wolfsburg and Bayer is because they actually used the workers from the factories on their squads back in the olden days. So they get somewhat of a pass.

Sounds like Chelsea to me....another plastic club

wait why do people hate the hoff?

One of the founders of SAP bought like 49% of the club in 1999 when they were in the 5th division and brought them to the Bundesliga. They actually did it the right way though by improving infrastructure and building a decent youth setup.
Germans are weird about their 50+1 rule and ownership in general.

that kind of shite reminds me of a question from the poli board a day or 2 ago. somebody was asking why the rest of the world can have paid leave but we don't. the same reason why that concept being interwoven into society makes no fricking sense to me. that's why. murka.

lol but even comparing the franchise system with Euro sports doesn't work bc other than baseball a rich owner in American sports doesn't mean shite
Red Bull big time and Hoff to an extent did some shady shite to get around the 50+1.
