I don't think that Holden's one game = WC Roster spot

I think most are operating under the assumption that his knee will hold up. It's not like he's unproven. He's clearly the best passer in the pool aside from Bradley. The only question is his health.

He looked extremely polished with his touches and the chances he was creating. If he can stay 100%, he absolutely needs to start in Brazil. Again, outside of Bradley, none of our CMs approach the quality he provides.

I would rather have Friedel over Rimando

No you wouldn't. Dude was awful in Europa League for Spurs this year. He has lost all of his quickness.

Goodson, Parkhurst, Evans

Full season of play Bocanegra or healthy Gooch ( ) for a year could take Goodson's spot.

A full season (and some US appearances) would put Chandler in over Parkhurst and/or Evans.

I think Klinsmann is looking for any reason not to take Goodson, and *someone* to step up to take in place of Parkhurst and/or Evans.

I could see four CBs (Besler, Gonzalez, Gooch, Bocanegra... or Goodson) and three outside backs (Cherundolo, Beasley and Chandler) with Cameron and Danny Williams (and Fabian Johnson) to provide cover.

I think it gets interesting if the two scenarios I laid out for Gooch and Carlos don't come to fruition... then what?
