Leaving Ben Arfa and Lacazette off the team was stupid by Deschamps, and of course that doesn't even factor in the whole Benzema shite

Benzema had to be left off imo. You don't forgive a player for trying to blackmail his own teammate. Ben Arfa should have been there instead of Martial.

France will be better in 2018

The core of their squad is still young.

Well the key for them is for the tournament to be in Europe. They did well in Belgium and Netherlands in 2000 and in Germany in 2006.

The core of the team is very young and arguably they have two of the best 5 players in the world outside of Messi and Ronaldo.

Please don't be including Pogba in that. He's a show pony.

It's arguable. He obviously has the talent and would be far better suited in a 3 man midfield so he doesn't have to do so much defensive work. He's not the first hyped 23 year old to underperform at a big tournament.

King Hot Take is baaaaaaaaaaaack.

ETA: I'm obviously biased, but I think Pogba is a fantastic player in the right role, and he had a subpar Euros.

For the umpteenth time, he dominates inferior competition and disappears against quality sides

No doubt. There'll be no asterisk. They'll be in Russia or Qatar. In other words they're not winning anything

Why do you hate France so much, Spain would still be in the Stone Age with the rest of the Middle East without the French saving their asses.
