i bought this game as part of target's buy 2 get 1 back in nov. never played fifa before. thinking about starting this weekend. anyone care to offer up a few key pieces of advice? if not, just tell me to frick off.

- Play a few quick matches with a team you know first to get used to the game. Knowing a team's roster and how it plays IRL helps a lot.
- You're not going to be able to dribble past as many people as you think you can.
- Get ready for a lack of fouls by the CPU.
- Look up tutorials online at how to hit free kicks and penalties. Those can be tricky.
- Pass it to the Italians.

Idk if you consider it "cheating" but in MM, I use the hell out of Sofifa to get player values/wages/potential before buying/selling/loaning.

I don't but once you get good enough to consistently beat the computer on the highest difficulties I assure you you'll hate yourself for it.

Welp that Hamsik SBC card is disappointing to say the least.
The Gio SBC should be a nice addition to my US/MLS squad tho once prices normalize a bit.

I think I'm going to follow in the footsteps of tSpecial One try to snap tTitleDrought at FC Porto. Ultimate goal is to win a Champions League title there.
I've decided to run a bold 4-1-3-2 formation (using 3 AMs instead of one CAM and two traditional wingers, just so I don't get overloaded in the center) that I've never used but hammered some teams in friendlies while I was trying it out.

Whoever was talking about SoFIFA, I use it to find whatever players i’m Not already aware of. Like Barco and Martinez this year.
I don’t keep anyone above like 28 years old to start though and then focus more on YA guys. The YA players and making the USMNT stacked is what is fun for me.

Anyone else still playing FUT? Couldn't wait any longer and ripped though 16 packs today I had stacked from squad battles and the prime Rui Costa SBC, did pretty meh and got Ibra and Courtois but that's it. Hopefully they'll drop some big SBCs soon to raise the value of all the 87-89 investments in my trade pile but it'll probably just be some bullshite ones that require only 83-85 range guys.
