I wonder if they will take the time to make the bodies of the women actually match their real bodies. Judging by that image of Alex Morgan, they won't.

Some of the other pics looked pretty accurate:

As long as I get to use them against men's teams and watch people rage when they lose, I'm all for it.

Again, You can't do this because the ratings will be WAY off. It's not about disallowing the unreal somewhere and allowing it somewhere else, it's about the games mechanics. Women would all be in the 40s-50s compared to Men's teams, it would be pointless.

thats not really a legit reason considering the absolute worst mens team in the game can play the absolute best w/similarly large ratings gaps.

if somebody wants to play with a team that has a massive disadvantage they should be allowed to.

its really no different than NCAA Football letting you create a cream puff academic school and then playing teams like Bama, Oregon, and FSU.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Having the women all be in the 30s-50s would just be realistic. The best women's team would get crushed by a bad men's team and it should be the same in the game.

Adding the Russian 2nd division should have been their top priority

I'd rather them add the USL and NASL. Then add an option to where you could turn the MLS into pro/rel by adding the other leagues.

That was by far my favorite thing to do. Would take work to build that team up

Similarly, I've done the same in the past in FIFA 12 with Crewe Alexandra. Challenging but fun and rewarding

Ultimate Team has some of their best players do this all of the time. I once watched a stream of a guy win the 1st Division in UT with a team full of keepers. I thought I was good winning like 3rd division with my US Nationals squad.

You don't see the potential for the attacks? EA is actually being smart here.

Feminists and Polygon will go ballistic when Wambach is rated at like 53, at best, compared to men. This is a PR disaster waiting to happen.

Also, you have to make it somewhat enjoyable to play as the women's teams. If you put everyone on the same scale and make most of the women 20s, then when you play women vs. women, you still have a game where half the shots are going out for throw-ins.

Doesn't the U17 Men's team destroy the WNT each time they play?

I hope whoever wrote that Polygon article doesn't think that writing a bunch of white knight, phoned-in, empty feminist rhetoric is going to help him get his v-card pulled anytime soon. I would consider myself a somewhat liberal person (at least relative to most people I know) and even I couldn't make myself read the whole thing. If I were a female soccer player I would be furious that someone who is that much of a nitwit was trying to manipulate my perceived lower-status as a female athlete to make a pretentious show of how he supports gender equality.

Does anyone else find it strange that the previous WWC winner isn't amongst the womens' teams included? Disappointed I can't exact any e-revenge on Japan for 2011.
