Can a couple of you guys help me and some of the other newbies out by giving a bit of guidance of how to use sopcast. Maybe I'm a retard and the only one struggling trying to understand how to use it, but even in that case some guidance would be appreciated.

Some of my questions right now:

What is the easiest way to figure out the channel of the event you're trying to watch?

Is there any way other than viewing a channel to see what its quality will be?

Any advice or tips y'all have is appreciated, I thought it would make sense to have a thread that has all the info formation in one place, since it is usually brought up randomly in other topics and lost in the other conversations.

LINK

Choose the match, click the sopcast link.

Or, watch whatever Bloodzeed is streaming. His channel is 132927 and his URL is:

sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/132927

Isn't there something that needs to be downloaded and installed to your machine in order to watch these streams?

Yes, you download the actual program. Sopcast is essentially a TV and you choose the channels to watch. PC has the option of watching multiple channels at once, Mac doesn't (yet).

Download link

There are also apps for Android devices, iPhones and iPads

Yeah I gave up and switched to first row. It was a shitty feed, but at least it worked.
