Seriously, why should Liverpool be punished?

He's on your team it comes with the territory

He should be suspended for club matches. The man clearly does not get it

I'm almost looking forward to the board meltdown when he's not banned for as long as lots of people are saying he should.

That's a terrible argument. That's like losing your drivers license after 3 DWIs one of which you got while driving an 18-wheeler, but keeping your job as a truck driver.

I honestly don't know which one's real between the "real" and photoshopped one. But I still think it's funny at the media overexaggerating it if true. The dude bit somebody does it really need that extra spin

Well, the "photoshop" was the one ESPN showed in the video during the match.

I haven't really seen the close ups from the game so I wasn't sure which one was real especially since the "photoshopped" one has been circulating more

He won't be.. a year ban is ridiculous.

8 games, 10 games, then 60+ games?

No, it will be around 30 if i had to guess. and definitely not the lifetime ban or two year ban or whatever people have been calling for on this board.

30 including club should be just fine

Sky was reporting that BR was having emergency talks with the owners about the incident.

I agree. 10 International matches should do it.

What a childish, ignorant way of looking at this.

What precedent is there for violent conduct at the International stage resulting in disciplinary action at the club level? And vice versa?
