Player was clipped and the Ref played advantage I simply said "Next time we will take the Free Kick" as player was off balance and not in control of the ball due to the foul.

Ref let a foul go because he felt calling the foul would take away the advantage the attacking team had at the moment.
Coach preferred the foul/free kick because he didn't believe he had an advantage due to player being off balance.

My kids coach got immediately kicked out of the game after this exchange with the ref. He was soon after kicked out the complex after he exploded.
