Ancelotti on Illarra. ´He´s the first option, because he´s been playing. He´s got the quality, he´s capable, and he´s been playing. He´s the first option, and I haven´t changed my opinion´.

Khedira plays this weekend. Let´s hope Carlo´s just trying to play mind games with his Illarramendi declarations.

Don't know, and yeah, that would be okay

Illarra obviously isn't a one-one ability replacement for Alonso even if they are similar, and mother frick watching those two play together, but Illarra is better than he gets credit for

Illarra is fantastic, but for a one off for all the marbles against Atleti, I think he´s still wet behind the ears.

Hasn´t helped that he´s seen probably a quarter of the time he saw last season with La Real (only logical, of course).

those two play together,

Yeah, that´s impossible. Absolutely impossible.

He is, and it'd be great if someone like Casemiro was seasoned well enough to step into a game like this, but at least he'll have di Maria's tireless arse to chase after Atletico when they break

Pepe looks to be all but discarded for the CL final.

20% chance as of today, that he makes it.

Now we´re seeing that Pepe will make it, and there´s concern about whether or not Benzema will make it.

Costa not to see action in the CL final. Confirmed.

He´ll be in Brazil, however.

Diego Costa is almost certainly out of the Champions League final on Saturday, but will return in time to play in the World Cup in Brazil.

The Atlético Madrid forward underwent tests at the Clínica FREMAP in Madrid on Monday, which revealed that he has suffered a grade I hamstring injury in his right leg.

Although the injury is not as serious as expected, the 25-year-old faces 15 days out and is ruled out of the clash against Real Madrid in Lisbon.

Atlético club doctors have communicated to the Spanish Football Federation that the player will be back in time to play in the World Cup. He is currently in Vicente del Bosque’s 30-man provisional squad, but is expected to be a part of the final 23.

Costa was forced off after 13 minutes of Saturday’s title decider with Barcelona and was replaced by Adrián.

Good to see Ronaldo and Bale will be fit. I wish both sides could play their best 11. It is more fun that way.

Pepe´s doubtful again, and Spanish press says Costa thinks he´ll make it (he´s back from Belgrade and they´re saying she said he´s got four days of recuperation).

Tottenham will receive 6.8M Euros from Bale and Modric´s CL win clauses.

Operación Salida:

Morata first to go, lots of speculation as to where right now, but it will be in England.

Casemiro has offers in Italy.
