Oh I agree, but its never as easy or simple as saying that they're in Scotland not Ireland. Is it utterly void of compassion and class? Absolutely. But ethnicity and diaspora are never black and white.

You have a great point if this was 20 or 30 years ago but its 2014. They need to get with the times. Same with some Rangers fans. People of Irish descent in places like Liverpool and Manchester don't seem to have these problems. Sure doesn't hurt Scotlands first Irish formed club with Hibs from conducting itself. The club intergrated all people and it works great.

It is easy as saying they are in Scotland not Ireland b/c they put Scottish football in a bad light, not Irish football. If they hate everything British/Scottish so much they could go back, but no they take full advantage of the British way of life. This also applies to Protestant Irish who fly the flag of Ulster and yell no surrender. We are generations removed from this stuff but these clowns can't let go of the past. It is sad esp when these Celtic fans probably have had friends and relatives fight and die in wars from past to current.

William Wallace would be turning in his grave if he walked into Celtic park. At least Rangers fans fly Scottish flags and show some aspect of being Scottish

Ireland vs Scotland this week at Celtic park will be interesting. You will have locals leaving their home born and raised in Scotland cheering for the away side. Throw in the fact only 3k away tickets were sold you will have Irish fans from Glasgow or coming from Ireland sitting with the home fans. Could be a mess.
