Now I don't know much but why is bringing him back that big of a deal? What were the terms of his exit last time?

It's a stopgap to hopefully get us qualified.

He's only here to try and get us qualified for Russia. After that we'll (hopefully) go and get someone that can really make us a contender on the world stage.

Yeah. He was here for 2 friendlies in January, but those don't mean anything (no matter what klinsmann would have you believe

He was fired after an abysmal 2006 WC. We only scored one goal and finished dead last in the group. The highlight was a 1-1 draw vs Italy thanks to an own goal gift from Italy. It's funny, now I remember Klinsmann as the guy who fricked Landon Donovan out of a 4th World Cup more than anything else.
