City officially finish above United for the second year in a row.

Do you get a trophy for that? This is a very Auburnesque thread

The way things are looking it might be the last time for a while especially if you have to start playing those youth players

I'm honestly just glad that last year for United was only a hitch and you guys are competitive again. It honestly wasn't the same.
I'm not too worried about the academy. Pozo, Rekik, Ambrose, Iheanacho and Lopes are a solid few.
I think the key for City is to sign either De Bruyne or Pogba this summer along with another CB (no on earthly clue who though).

We just destroyed your u21's last week and won the league
Pell already said none of those guys are ready.
De Bruyne and Pogba alone would be 100 million at minimum . You have more needs than that with an aging roster. I don't see how De Bruyne would really fit into City's team anyway.

Pozo and Fofana were the only two I listed that played in that game. Rekik is on loan at PSV and has made 52 appearances for them over the past two years. Lopes is at Lille this year and has made 18 appearances. There's talent there in the academy.
United played Blackett and Wilson who both have more than ten starts on the senior team and Januzaj who has made more than 40 appearances lol.
Obviously, United is ahead on the academy, but City is making progress.

Based on that table, it looks Newcastle are back in Europe!

Isn't PSV about to buy rekkik

I haven't heard that, if they did I would assume City would place a buy back clause. If we sell him then that is honestly retarted. With the way our CB's have played we need as many decent ones that we can get.

But it was a real victory. On the field.

all that money dumped in that youth academy and no real results
the last youth product was before the take over, thats just sad.
