from the jist of it, sounds like a lot of people are annoyed by the sacking.

their main points are:

1. This is not his players
2. You didn't give him the transfer window to at least bring in a few of his players
3. How can you expect improvement, with a bad roster and no chance to improve it.

The only people annoyed by it are not Swansea fans who probably didn't watch all 11 of his games.

To your points:

1) no but they got worse the longer they were with him
2) this is a bad part of Huw right now but he wasn't going to have control of this anyway. Also who was he going to attract?
3) he had 11 games to get something more out of them and they got worse. Look at the recent results. Completely pathetic.

Sorry guys but trust me this sacking was justified. The Americans now need to show they are truly going to invest in the club and go splash money on a big name who can attract players and give him complete control

Swansea relegation hype train full speed ahead.

Swansea is only four points out of the relegation zone. Just insane. Give the man a damn transfer window

Good article here for those interested in the state of the club and how we got here - LINK

I've now been tweeted back by Alexi, Jeff Carlisle and Ives now in the past 24 hours about this

Damn man. Links to said retweets? I remember your kids got a shout out from men in blazers during the WC. That was freaking awesome.

One time I saw an interesting fact on ShinGuardian and mentioned it in a comment on SBI. Ives then tweeted it out and then ShinGuardian threw him shade for using their material. Ives then tweeted them back saying, "Nah I got this from a commenter. Thanks Chris from LSU!"

I don't post on ShinGuardian anymore.

Alexi quoted my tweet about an hour ago and then said bob was the only reason Americans watched Swansea. You will know who I am from there. On phone so don't want to go through hassle of linking

We will welcome Swansea with open arms. Except Leeds because those shitheads are going to screw up and get promoted. Is it really promotion if the league is shittier?

So the board could pick the players for him?

Arguing Bobs sacking is eerily familiar to the les miles debacle from last year. Lots of outrage from outside the club from those who were fans of the man and thought they knew best for the team. It's really weird.

What is with this board and everyone trying to compare managerial situations to Les Miles?

Well, y'all have fun with Ryan Giggs. I'm pretty sure relegation is where y'all are headed if that's your hire (and maybe even if it isn't).

For what it's worth, Bradley had more points per game than Guidolin (8 in 11 vs 4 in 7), and he had to take over a demoralized team and try to turn it around, whereas Guidolin got continuity from the season prior. Still think Bob was given a very hard job and not given enough time at the helm.

Swansea is only 4 points out of the relegation zone. That's 2 games. Just nuts to me that they would only give him 11 games to turn around that dumpster fire of a team.

ETA: You know it's bad when you get sympathy from Joey Barton, who tweeted the following:
quote:

Feel sorry for Bob Bradley. Not really sure what he was meant to do. Inherited another manager's players and never got a transfer window.

I don't want Giggs. Bradley wasn't qualified and neither is he

And we were getting worse. Last 3 games against WBU, Boro and WHU were 1-3, 0-3 and 1-4. 29 GA in 11 games. 15 scored with 8 of those coming in 2 games. It's either 7 or 8 games we conceded 3 or more under him. All of that plus if you watched every game like I did nothing suggested oh he just needs more time.

I feel like I need a moment from "A Time to Kill" where after all that is said I go "now imagine he's not American"

He wouldn't have been picking the players in the window anyway which is and has been a large problem with the club

Nice of the club to put their managers in a no win situation.

So he was actually doing better than the prior manager in terms of points per game but because they let in more goals it's unacceptable? If I were a Swansea fan I would be happy with any little improvement a manager could get out of a squad that seems to just not care and has very little EPL caliber players.

He was doing better in PPG but that wasn't exactly very hard nor should that be where the bar is set for anyone. FG had 4 from 7. 8 from 11 for Bob. Both suck.

Again his defense was atrocious. I have no clue in many of his games what system we were playing nor did it look like our players knew (sound familiar?). 3 DMs together one game. Gylfi as a false 9 a few games with wingers sending in crosses and defenders bypassing the midfield with long balls towards him. A different back 4 almost every game. It was all over the map

and the majority of the comments i attributed, were from Soccer coaches and media in England.

I haven't seen one pundit claim it was a good sacking, more and more coming out against it. West Ham HC as the newest dissenter.

Regardless of how i feel about Bradley(no opinion), others aren't on the "He sucks, he should of been fired" bandwagon.
