Atlanta United FC unveil plans for training grounds

On Tuesday the team announced a 30-year agreement with DeKalb County for a 41-acre site that will serve as the home for Atlanta United’s training facility, academy and club headquarters. The project will feature a 3,500-seat turf stadium, three grass fields and two-story club offices which are expected to be completed by January 2017 for a reported investment projected at $35 million. There is also a proposed second phase of the project that would feature an indoor facility and three more grass fields.
