It looks like Lincoln will be the 11th and Leicester is not yet scheduled.

Camera angle made it a lil diff to watch. But, yeah I just can't get excited for this team. They were playing against fricking school teachers for crying out loud.

Yea I'm not enjoying watching us. We used to disappoint but with style. We played beautiful football on a budget too. I could forgive our yearly collapse given we couldn't fully compete financially and we still were a joy to watch. Now we have no identity. Everything looks labored offensively. Very few moments of magic these days.

Give Monaco a blank check for Mbappe right now.

I'd for real be okay with paying a higher price than United did for Martial

I don't know if any of y'all use instagram, but Granit's wife or gf (whatever she is lol) posted a picture the other day that all but confirms they're having a baby.. have y'all heard anything about him becoming a dad?

Looks like Santi is done this season. At his age, with a chronic achilles, I doubt he will ever be an important player for Arsenal again. Sad day. I love the guy.

Just saw a report that we will accept an £85 million deal for Alexis this summer. Apparently Real Madrid have offered £45 plus Morata. Which I say we take ONLY if there is no way Alexis will stay.

Yep sad.... He's what made us brilliant earlier in the season

I hate it but if someone really offers £85M you can't turn that down.. especially with him not resigning (if he does though, immediately slap a £135M price tag on him)
I don't want to see Alexis go anywhere, but I also don't want him to go for free
Following up with that, I think if Real offered £50M plus Morata we should take it if Alexis is determined to go

Either deal would be outstanding considering Alexis only has one year left on his contract after this season.

Agreed. Also who do y'all think is our best option for manager Simeone or Allegri?
Posted on 2/22/17 at 6:56 pm to GeauxHouston
Allegri. I think Simeone is great (La Liga, 2 CL finals in 3 years) but he would maybe play too defensively and have a lot of 1-0 wins.
Don't get me wrong I love the wins, but after Wenger has built Arsenal to be a "beautiful" style of football I don't think Simeone would be the right one to immediately replace him

What is sad is we will never have a collection of world-class players under this ownership. We will sell Alexis this summer and probably sign someone pretty decent, but we are continuing the Arsenal recent tradition of a cap on spending. It is aggravating.
Sell Ozil and break the bank to keep Alexis. I concede the argument that Mesut is a "luxury" player for us. He should not be, but we are held hostage by ownership's spending philosophy.
Stan needs to sell this club to an almost-trillionaire oil sheik who is a passionate fan and will spend money like it's going out of style.

Alexis is not leaving because of money. He's leaving because we can't offer him a chance to win a major trophy. We spent a good amount this season. If you look at our spending the last 3-4 years we are spending much more than we used to. I'm not saying it couldn't be better but we have the resources to win the PL.

Elneny out 3 weeks. Cazorla will probably miss rest of season.
Deja vu...

We found out today that his surgery didn’t go as well as had hoped - after his first operation, the wound didn’t heal properly, and it got to the point where the skin on his ankle was “practically dead”, so they did a skin graft a month and a half ago. Which seemed to be OK until he got on an exercise bike after being cleared to exercise. Doing that re-opened the original wound because the stitches didn’t have enough purchase in the newly grafted skin, so he went under the knife again yesterday afternoon to fix that damage.
