Arsenal is almost like UGA football, I like ém.

They need to send Santi back, however.

There is a gap now, most of the fairly young ones are proven and carry important price tags, and I don´t see Wenger ready for another coddling of a Cesç Fábregas.

IMO, Oliver Torres, of Atlético de Madrid, would be worth it, however. I don´t see Simeone letting him go, he´s (Oliver) due to explode (in the good sense).

I really liked the kid out of Cantabria, Sergio Canales. I guess he´s suffered too many knee injuries, to be enjoying the projection he had years ago. Valencia will never be what they were, he needs greener pastures.

Muniain commands a big payday, and I think he´s nervous about bolting from Bilbao, the Llorente and Javi Martínez scandals are quite fresh.

Thiago is too expensive (that €18M pricetag is bullshite low, and Barça won´t let him go for that money), and I believe he´s counted on there, for the future.

the two we took from barca last haven't exactly exploded. bellerin has been solid for our academy team at RB. toral i've hardly heard anything about. i seem to recall we are close to stealing another barca academy guy. we were also linked to another but then he re-upped with barca last month or so.

eta: we don't need AM prospects. i love eisfeld and zelalem, and so does our staff. strikers and deeper midfielders are welcome though.

Just means ive prob been following longer than you have. Do i want my club to spend more? Yes. Do I want to spend lavish amounts on players that will never live up to the prive tag? No. Do i want to have a new manager every season? No. Would I like to win the BPL?Yes. but i have seen my team win them, and each time it was glorious.

Now moving foward, i feel like Arsenal will spend more. Not go out of control, but do enough. We may not win next year, but we could get very competitive with buying the rt players and keeping the core together.

Maybe, but Chelsea has very little history, so the point stands.

I've never seen or heard a Chelsea fan want this, but at the end of the day you can't argue that your way works better due to the difference in recent trophies.

I'm sure he's at the top of Arsene's transfer list

I've never seen highlights of Zelalem, and I only saw highlights from one match of Eisfeld and wasn't that impressed.

Anyone know if Zelalem is going to represent the US or Germany? Also if you could link me highlights of the kid that would be sweet.

You are comparing a new manager to a bankroll which are not the same thing.

Just because RA spent $$$ doesn't mean the manager failed or succeeded, they were merely the vessel for the $$$ that had been spent by the owner/club.

in Chelsea's case club success =/= managerial success.

eisfeld has been very good for our reserves. big time scorer. I think he'll either get cup action or be loaned out next season.

zelalem has only played 3 matches because he just turned 16. he's practiced with the first team a lot though. very highly regarded. not sure who he will play for. not a US citizen yet.

rumor has it we've agreed to terms with Ashley Williams. I'm pretty meh on the move. he's a better third option than TV5 though. surely this means the captain is gone.

I hope we aren't paying a lot of money for him.
