Many clubs are facing a major financial crisis and have not paid salaries for several months.

The footballers' union says the strike will go on until the players received what they are owed.

The strike involves players of more than 200 Argentine clubs.

They pushed back the start date from over a month ago to Friday, but all the matches this weekend have been postponed as well due to the strike.

I get the financial difficulties for certain clubs. In Russia, Tom Tomsk haven't paid their players.

But a league wide scenario is laughable.
