You over estimate what the Gold Cup means. The viewership of that game will be less than several of the club preseason friendlies. The Hex and WC are what matter for the USMNT.

Yep. It's a bad loss but big picture it's not that big of a deal.

US men's soccer will never be elite. Too many of our best athletes pursue other sports. Sorry, but it's true.
