Why does he always feel the need to wear extra medium jackets?

You think that was bad? Should've seen me when I walked into Anfield for the first time.

I don't know, but me and Bob have been saying for years that when we both get big boy jobs we're going to go to the Pool/Villa match every year (alternating home grounds). Y'all should join.

I'm dying to get over there soon, but the announcement that Anfield will be renovated instead of demolished takes some of the pressure off of the urgency.

That would be awesome. With the amount of times I've been out of the country, there is no excuse for me not seeing Anfield by now.

If you go on the official tour, they blare a real life recording of YNWA when you walk on to the pitch from the boot room. Really cool way to bring the game day atmosphere to those who can't make game day. And the Anfield LFC store inside is pretty much like walking into a decade's worth of Christmas days and birthdays all at once.

I can't even imagine. I would drive myself into debt I'm sure.

All of the retro jerseys you can imagine. From each European Cup year too. The real ones. Not like the fake crap I have. And basically every type of LFC trinket you can imagine.

I'll admit I got a little misty eyed when I first stood before The Pantheon in Rome and Botticelli's "The Birth of Venus" in Florence.

But White Hart Lane?

Really?

Is White Hart a European equivalent of Yankee Stadium or Wrigley or, yes, Notre Dame Stadium--just oozing with history and tradition?

But, I guess to each his own.

Definitely the KFC thing. I knew that guy in college. Every road trip got planned around wether or not there was a KFC buffet along the way. it was pretty fricked up.

I'd love to go to Old Trafford one day.

But I'm not picky. I'd love to take in a match at the Ethiad, Emirates, Stamford Bridge, White Hart Lane, Villa Park, Goodison, Craven Cottage, and/or even Anfield.

We need to get a SB Field Trip to England together after we all A.) graduate B.) get really good jobs or C.) one wins half a billion dollars in Powerball or something like that.
