Last match of her career will be in New Orleans
quote:
“After much deliberation and talking with my friends, family, teammates and our coaching staff, I’ve decided to finally bring my soccer career to an end,” said Wambach. “While we still have more work to do for women’s soccer, after bringing the World Cup back to the United States this summer, I’m feeling extremely optimistic about the future of our sport. It’s been an amazing, wonderful ride and I can’t wait to see what the next chapter of my life brings.”

Now there's a man I'd hate to fight. She wears underwear with dickholes in 'em.
Seriously, though, what a talent to have on our national team. One of best women to ever play the game, and I loved watching her play for our team. I really hope they try to make her last match one similar to LD's in terms of showing what she really meant. If it passes by with only a couple weak tributes, I'll be upset.

She is probably the best female athlete I ever watched. She was really impressive at her peak.
