No way they include Mario right? I understand the win now approach but I think that would be mortgaging the future. Mario had a less than stellar second half but I think he was out of position, he was damn good the first part of the year.

I am not very familiar with Vidal's style, how would he fit within the scheme?

Box-to-box midfielder, would replace Schweiny.

--------------------- Lewandowski --------------------

------ Muller ------------------------ Robben ---------

Bernat -------- Vidal -------- Thiago ----------- Lahm

--------- Alaba ------- Boateng ----- Benatia --------

That would be really fun to watch.

You ready to ditch the 4-3-3 with Frack, Muller and Robben up top.

Those were the days

I think they're a team on the rise.

Don't think they'll compete for a spot in Europe yet but I can see them finishing 8th or so.

FC Bayern confirm the signing of Arturo Vidal pending a medical.

Also, some Kalle notes:

LINK

…Thomas Müller: “You can’t put a price on certain players. We’d be out of our minds to let a player like him leave. It’s all hot air, there’s nothing to it! Bastian Schweinsteiger gave great service to the club and the fans christened him Fußballgott (football god) - Thomas Müller might be given that name now. He could grow into the role.”

…Mario Götze: “I have the impression he wants to stay here and will. If I was his agent, I’d advise him to stay at Bayern and go flat out. He has the potential and the talent to establish himself here over the long term. It’s important he takes on the battle for places.”

"It's basically crazy the numbers which are currently kicking around in football - that's just business," Muller told German broadcaster Sport1.

Muller also saw the funny side of the endless speculation on Monday, when he played in a testimonial match against Dynamo Dresden.

"In Dresden, a fan addressed me with a megaphone: 'Hey €100m man, what is your playing shirt worth?' That made me smile," Muller added.

Did anyone else hear when Wynalda said that Muller looked "goofy".

Yeah, I don't disagree. Muller is pretty weird, but he's awesome. Wynalda didn't like how he wore his socks.
