Spain returns to Oviedo tonight, and with a win against Slovakia, will be the first selection to tally 150 classificatory wins for the Euro Cup and the World Cup.

CSKA manager Leonid Slutsky takes over from Fabio Capello to save the Russian NT.

Also, I haven't seen Belarus' starting XI, but hopefully Blackpool legend Sergei Kornilenko is in there. He just torched Zenit a few days ago.

They have those weird doors going most of the way around the stadium

Haven't found a picture that does the shittiness of the field condition justice. This is what part of it looked like yesterday:

I'm going to stream it. Does Russia normally line up 4-4-2?

Capello used 4-3-3 and 4-1-4-1, but Slutsky is the manager now.

Rooney takes the English goal scoring record with a PK. Kind of a shitty way to do it, but crazy that I just witnessed it.

I'm watching Russia, but on the comments section they said some English announcer compared Shelvey to Pirlo.

Didn't realize Mark Clattenburg made the trip to Russia to officiate this match. He's a good ref.

The back heel was Shirokov, not Kokorin. Either way, very nice.
