At the end of the day, its all about money. Unpopular attention could result in a loss of revenue.
Even conservative businesses dont want bad publicity due to fringe elements of the right.

What does it matter? I have no idea because i dont browse that kind of trash. Whether or not I can point out to you which Pages were supremacist or not advertisers were leaving YouTube because YouTube couldn't guarantee them their ads wouldn't end up on those kinds of pages. Pretty simple stuff. I'm sorry you don't like it but you're kind of on a sinking ship
