Regardless of the govt trying to control the media, Iranians are very aware of world events. Consider:
They are sick and tired of the embargo and lack of goods and impact on their lives
Mahsa Amini being beaten to death over "improper" wearing of a hijab caused a tremendous amount of internal unrest and protests and still does.
They are aware of the billions being spent on terror and a vast nuclear program, as well as military and police (to control them) internally, while they struggle economically
On the other end of the spectrum you have radicals who are constantly against the moral decline of the population. And very very upset that the west keeps killing military leaders, nuclear scientists, etc, many on their own land.
The net result is this little love tap we saw today.....which will further piss off both sides as being too much or too little.

Nothing like a bunch of camel jockey's that couldn't defeat Iraq. And to this day .....whose weaponry looks like identical copies of Hamas and their allies .....punching holes in the sky. "Ready? Shoot, We'll worry about aiming later."
Their Air Force is obsolete air frames .......My favorite story being 4 F-4's tracking a US drone over International waters. Two F-22's running cover for the drone. PIlot comes up from behind and below, looks over the armor of the F-4's .....swings over to the left and up beside the formation. "Guys, I think it's time you go home." Formation broke away and went home. They couldn't see them and couldn't track the F-22's ,

There are a few who don't care for their regime.
Enjoy a Carib today.

The tragic part of this scenario is that there are a lot of sane and good people in Iran who want none of the Mullah's Islamist fundamentalism. A decent CIA would have long ago undermined Islamism in Iran, as it is Iran that drives the whole instability and march to WWIII beginning in the ME.

You know there are a lot of good people over there I am sure.
What gets me though is they allowed it to happen, they need to fix it.
Same here in the USA, we have a problem that we have allowed to happen, now we better fix it or we are screwed.
Fix our shite first.

Honestly, this conflict isn’t really our business. We are at the point where we can’t believe anything our media, intelligence agencies, or government tells us. That is the problem with lying to Americans. We don’t know when to believe you.

Iran is kinda like the US right now. Illegitimate powers took over. There are some of the population that support the extreme radicals in power. The peaceful citizens rights are restricted. The radical govt embezzles cash to fund its geopolitical desires. The conservative population just wants to enjoy a capitalist society that doesn’t ram causes down your throat.

since the removal of the shah,Iran was a C-I-A controlled puppet state, just like NK

It’s always interesting to see pictures of Iran before the Islamic revolution.

Much of the Islamic world needs their own Martin Luther. It was bloody for us and probably will be for them.

You are so right. They need a reformation in a serious way.

Too busy trying to topple America to worry about Iran.

It gives me hope that so many have their eyes open to what is happening and are not falling for the propaganda from our media.

Here are some Iranian college girls in the 70s before theocracy took over.
There are people in Iran who want freedom.

Pics of life under the Shah are a great reminder of how leftie agenda fricks things up. Best thing is how they ignore all the women's issues that it has caused. Keep letting the Dems be bought and paid off by the Muslim Brotherhood and the difference will be our future here too.

Im not sure what this means.
My point was, they arent some mono culture hell bent on terrorism, there is a lot of discord that could easily bring an Arab Spring.
The Caribs are cold already, have a little work to do first.

TigerB8, I think you are spot on.
As a sidenote, you know one of the states that was gunho for the embargo of Iran when the whole dust up started? Not some conservative state, but California of all places. I found that so odd that Cali would be for it, so I had to do a little digging.
Guess who is one of the largest producers of Pistachios? Iran, guess who else is....you guessed it Cali. So the embargo, at least for a while made Americans pay even a higher fortune for the nuts (Cali already got a huge duty placed on them).
