To be fair, seems to me that only Sunny Hostin was trying to tie the Eclipse and the Cicadas to global warming. Whoopie and Behar gave her pushback on both of those.
They are all still miserable excuses for human beings and have what is probably the least informed show on TV...

It's not as outre a theory for the eclipse as it may appear, at first blush. This makes 3 total and/or annular eclipses in a pretty tight radius, in less than seven years! How can it be explained, other than increased heat energy from the Earth drawing in the Moon within increasingly less elliptical orbits around the planet, with perigees closer than usual (hence the increased frequency of "supermoons" in recent years), and apogees MUCH closer than usual, and all much more attuned toward passing in front of ol' Sol more often.
