I don't even think Kasich would have pulled it off.

Yes.

Obamacare flipped the Rust Belt. The 67% premium increase put Trump over the top in Pennsylvania.

I'm not sure their message would be as appealing, but if they campaigned there, while Hillary ignored it, the chances would have been better than most election.

If he could avoid cameras present while eating he may have pulled it off

Nope.

Only Trump had the balls to fight back on the PC front. And that's what won it.

Jared Kushner's data analytics contacts in Sillicon Valley were TREMENDOUS in flipping the Rust Belt. I do not know how many people actually recognize this.

I'm sure that had a lot to do with the flip, but I think Trump's trade/economic policies are was the biggest factor. The exodus of manufacturing jobs from the Rust Belt has hurt that region, and Trump's policies of evening the playing field with other countries ("America first" trade policy) and regulation/tax cuts was a huge pull.

Hopefully the RNC has taken note of it, because they usually don't run an "America first" trade policy. If they don't continue this policy moving forward, they will lose the Rust Belt states in the next election after Trump's last term.

Kasich would've won the EC, AND the popular vote, and a tweet out of his assing, nude teen beauty pageant contestant in the dressing room-ogling, tax cheating, multiple bankruptcy-filing, Russian whore-marrying, fake college-running, serial lying, Putin-fellating, 13year old-raping, China shirt and tie -manufacturing, draft-dodging, pussy-grabbing, multiple children from different mothers-fathering, intelligence briefing-skipping, con man, wouldn't be our president.

No other candidate would have paid any attention.

Kasich couldn't even get Wisconsin, PA, or MI in the primary.

Kasich or Paul were the only possible ones. No one else could have done it.

Nobody could match Trump's energy and message.
Pence was also a great choice.

What an eruption of a melt.

No other republican could have done it. Rubio, Cruz, and Bush would have been the worst by far. Paul would have come the closest.

Kasich would have lost Ohio to Hillary.

Of course he would!

He went 1 for 50 in the primaries and routinely owned 5-10% of the vote.

Not to mention that he could really fire up a crowd and get people motivated.

If this election taught us one thing it is that the rust belt was crying out for a globalist neocon.
