I hope that things heat up in Korea so we can use a defeat of the North and a seizure of that landmass to launch a strike into the Western (Southwestern) parts of China and start an uprising there that would in time become a pro-American regime.

Why would you want a war with China? They're as pro-American now as they're ever likely to be. This idea that we can turn every country in the world into America Junior is idiotic and has already cost us millions of lives.

A world power like the USA needs to "project force" in order to maintain hedgemony and its global role.

So what? Just because everyone doesn't agree with us on every single issue doesn't mean we need to invade them and destroy their country. Not everyone has to be your best friend.
PS - China voted with us on the most recent North Korea UN sanctions.
