Apple-supplier Foxconn will announce a plant in Wisconsin on Wednesday evening, accompanied by President Donald Trumpand Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a source with knowledge of the announcement told CNBC.
U.S. House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., will also be present at the announcement in Washington, a source said. No exact location for the plant has been chosen — but southeast Wisconsin is under consideration, according to a source.
The Wall Street Journal reported that Foxconn may be eyeing a new U.S. plant for display panels.

The only statewide elections the Democrats have won in Wisconsin since 2008 was way back in 2012 when Tammy Baldwin beat horrible GOP candidate Tommy Thompson on the back of Obama beating Romney.

Trump should be copying the German "Industry 4.0" as much as possible. I know Americans culture isn't, nor will it ever be, as engineering focused as German culture, but I don't think this is that hard of a sell.

How much is this going to drive up the cost of smartphones? There's a reason shite is made in China. Slave labor benefits the lower to middle class consumer.
