If Obama had said that he was having "meetings" on the golf course, would you have magically been totally cool with his playing?

I thought it was wonderful that Obama played golf on vacation. I loved every second Obama wasn't doing his job.

i don't know.
i didn't have a problem when Obama did it and I don't have a problem with it now. It's an incredibly stressful job, I want them to be able to get away and decompress. And even though the numbers sound huge it's an incredibly small hit to the budget.
the only thing that bothers me about this are the people who were outraged when Obama did it but aren't now (or vice versa). Asking for consistency from people here (and on liberal sites) is apparently too much to ask.

I didn't care about Reagan spending time at the Western White House.
I didn't care about Bush I going to Kennebunkport or Bush II going to the ranch in Crawford. I didn't care about Obama's vacations or golf (and neither did the media).
I don't care about Trump's trips to the Southern White House or his golf. (the media does).
The hypocrisy is palpable.

I think the media is deliberately spinning it to look bad, but I also wish he would just stay in Washington more. It really is an expensive process, and it undermines the work.

By all accounts, including his own, President Obama was not a hard worker. He wasn't high energy. You don't here people suggesting that Donald Trump is lazy.
