I choose to wear the mask btw. I also respect others’ decisions to not wear the mask.

I wear the mask if I need to like at work.
Some of us Freedom Loving Americans do not take kindly to being told what we can and cannot do. See prohibition if you want a good example.

Because it is a pain the arse. No amount of telling me it isn't will change the fact that, to me, it is.
I was out and about every day without a mask, and only wear it now where I am forced to do so. If a store say "required," I wear it. If they say "recommended," I don't. If I can choose a store that doesn't require, I choose them. Academy Sports is now "optional" here. Go visit, and you'll see what % of people "Choose."
Now, I do ask my kids to wear theirs. I'm hypocritical like that. But it mainly because kids can't stop digging in their noses, and they don't comprehend personal space.

Did you make them wear masks in past flu seasons? It’s more dangerous than the Rona to their age group.

Me and the wife went and had a little over an hour meeting with our broker yesterday. It was the first time I've had to wear a mask that long. Glasses fogged up, air I was rebreathing got hot and moist. After 15 minutes I told him he was going to have to leave the room for a couple of minutes so the wife and I could actually breathe some fresh air. He gladly obliged. He did it twice more before our meeting was over.

Nope, that's why I am an acknowledged hypocrite. No need to argue with me, I think this is complete and udder bullshite.
The only time in my life that I wore a mask was at the CVS Minute Clinic after testing positive for the FLU, and I wore it while waiting on meds.
