When other people commit terror attacks, they are lone wolves.

Why politics now?

It's really hard to push that narrative when he was with a group of, supposedly, like minded people

The establishment's head exploded when Trump won. They're scrambling now to regain control through small Coordinated bullshite like what happened in VA.

You can already see the seeds of this narrative. They need a couple more clashes and it'll give congress a reason to pass a bill outlawing protests and restricting whatever they deem to be "hate speech". Then theyll use that bill to catapult the tyrannical takeover. They'll shut down unbiased news sources and outspoken critics using the hate speech law. You watch. This is a scary time for this young country.

They're coming for free speech. They're coming for free assembly. They're coming for free expression. They're coming for free internet. They're coming for the power the citizens have gained in the last decade. It's not going to be pretty and by the time the majority of this country realizes what happened it'll be too late.

You forget Amercia is the youngest superpower. We have plenty of lessons to learn and we're about to learn a tough one.

Is there a current investigation that he may have acted in consort with others on this particular act?

He was just as alone at a large gathering as the Dallas shooter was.

A better question. If San Bernardino and Fort Hood were 'work place violence' then why isn't Virginia 'an automobile accident'?

The "lone wolf" position of this board is one of the dumbest things we have going on here.

Particularly because the concept of a "lone wolf" (someone acting with no or only limited connection to a larger and more easily tracked movement) is a particularly dire extremist threat.

By these rules then the Dallas Cop Killer is a BLM member and acted out on BLM propaganda.

When you compare them to active cells (9/11, France attacks, etc.), or groups like McVeigh/Nichols/Fortier, I think they're quite different and therefore accurately "lone wolf"
