Seems like slow-playing a situation like this is a recipe for disaster

We should bail these good folks out. They can't help the rest of their state is a shitshow.

I'm not saying resources should be granted, but politically, this is retarded of him

They are in the process of developing a Mantra, "we want to be our own country", but they are having some difficulty selling that notion right now. Perhaps they should make a loan from the UN and the World Bank like other countries, we could send them a few bucks

The experts also rated the spillway 20 times more capable than it actually is

It's a sinkhole that caused the problem.

Let err on the side of if it were to happen. Last report I saw was that the emergency spill way has failed.

Snow is melting and it's is going to storm (flash flood warning now).

Work in advance not from behind.

Who's he gonna ask? Trump is "NOT California's President" or have they forgotten all that and want bygones to be bygones?

When push comes to shove the Leftists crumble like a saltine.

Many of the potentially affected are not leftists. I find humor in those of you who think that California is one hundred percent liberal when there are more right wingers in California than in any southern state. California is comprised of more than the Bay area and Los Angeles.

At the moment no outside resources are needed. They are using choppers to drop rocks into the sinkhole. Seems pathetic.

Main thing is to get lake level below the need to use the spillway. Rain is not coming for several days.

The roads are full of evacuees.

I have a good many friends in the Emerald Triangle and the Imperial Valley. It saddens me that such widely polarized populaces must share the same kind of government.

The state of nixon and jerry brown. Must be a ton of gop in .ca because the state legislature is often deadlocked.
