Why do the left and neocons hate Russia so bad?

I have an indifferent/neutral opinion on them. But they aren't actively waging economic and psychological warfare on America the way the ChiComs have.
Why am I supposed to hate Russia? And why should I give a shite about what they do with Ukraine?

I don't know. I've always supposed that the same money that bought America and most of Europe's political elite find Russia to be too nationalistic for their taste, which is ironically funny.

You need to think this through. I guess it is OK for a country like Russia to get an itch and then scratch it by invading a few countries. They just need a larger safety buffer I guess, right? Estonia and Poland and Slovokia next. That's all. It was their's after WW2 anyway.

Tell me how a country with a current economy the size of New York accomplishes this? You are being played. If NATO stays out of Ukraine, so will Russia. Russia is a distraction. China is the real enemy. Stop being hoodwinked.

2. I don't think Putin plays ball like Medvedev did. Much like Trump, I don't think Putin was supposed to win.
I found info in Wikileaks about Obama feeling insecure around Putin and Biden "offering" the Presidency to Medvedev. I posted it last year before the election, but it got lost when they closed down that board. I'll have to go back and find it again and post it.

Russia is a convenient bogeyman the deep state (Republican and Democrat) uses as a tool of fear on the American people. It is a useful fearmongering tool. Russians have essentially replaced Muslims as a justification for the government to spy on American citizens and wield powerfully invasive mechanisms to maintain control of the populace. It’s unacceptable to criticize Islamists but perfectly acceptable to go after Russians.
Also, American business interests (and the political bribery and kickbacks that go along with it) are much more focused on making money (for themselves, not you) in China than Russia. Both the left (Clinton) and the right (Bush) worked diligently to get WTO membership in China because of corporate influence within both the Democrat and Republican parties.

Neocons were originally Trotskyists whose anti-Communism was actually anti-Stalinism. Their belief in perpetual war to achieve a global democratic order is right out of Trotsky's playbook. There is also the fact that many neocons are Zionist Jews. They don't like Russia because of the Tsarist pogroms throughout the centuries.
