What is it about the leftist mindset that leads them into jobs in media and education?

Because it much less objective than other fields and they can be groomed and elevated by the gatekeepers who are also leftist scum.

Progressives tend to want the wold to change. Education and media are effective mechanisms to enact change.

We really need more conservative to choose to be involved in both.

Because they're self absorbed and crave attention. Being a news commentator or professor, all eyes are on you, and you have a position of authority where people take your word for it.

Left is intention oriented. "I want to save the planet, so I'm a writer."

With the left, dumb plans or poor execution don't matter as long as the intention was good.

Accountability and results, hallmarks of the right, tend to mesh less well with journalism.

At this point it's almost self-selecting. Not unlike the education system at the University level. You already know your chances of moving up in the industry are fractions of what they would be if you put in hard work elsewhere if you're conservative

Might have something to do with who owns the networks and publications that led to a gradual imbalance IMO.

Being a conservative majoring in journalism severely limits your options in today's agenda driven media and entertainment industries.

To me a better description would be "methodical and logical" as they provide a more clear juxtaposition of how emotions fuel the views of your stereotypical Leftists.

a lot of you have to realize just how easy this is to do. Presidents do it all the time with the army

How many people do you think added stars under Obama who were out in the open about say having a problem with Obama's approach to certain programs in the army? It's really not complicated. Initially all of the top selections are for people who Express certain views. Those people then Tim to have the same effect on the people they rate and on Down the Line. In Fairly short order you can convert an entire organization to a single point of view. Sure there will be Heretics in the organization but most likely they'll be quiet Heretics

I will never get over how a site like 538 has literally 14 liberal writers/contributors and not a single conservative. Not one!

I can't even get over how ridiculous that is, and struggle to come up with a parallel in another industry.

I'd say 90+% in these groups.

This is what amazes me about the Delta Sky Club, which insists on broadcasting CNN in their lounges.

80% of the people in there are Delta frequent flyers in these industries - white males. At least 67% of the people in Delta Sky Clubs voted Trump and are clearly annoyed at the CNN. It just doesn't make sense - the leftists insist on forcing their narrative on others no matter the cost or backlash.

I suppose they can all read, but I'm not so sure of their writing skills.

Strange, isn't it, almost like it's part of a long term strategy.

The "three headed beast ", academia, Enemedia and pop culture gives the Prog/leftists an undeniable advantage to disseminate their destructive ideology.
