I really don't understand this. They have lower poverty rates and higher median income than white people. Typically they are business and economically intelligent. What is it that turns them off from the GOP?

I don't know why they largely support affirmative action, since it does not help them and, arguably, hurts them. I see that glass may be cracking in California, which is a good thing.

Just because you guys can't recognize the white guy Christian centric-ness of the party doesn't mean no one can.

People vote against R's for rational reasons.

I'd say that it is a result of largely collectivized Asian culture. Individualism is not nearly as strong in Eastern thought (with exceptions) as Western thought (also with notable exceptions). That would be my guess.

ETA: Also, it's not as if voting Republican is voting for individualism.

because democrats expand their mind a little more than us republicans. they "think" outside the box more.

You don't understand this because you and many other posters on here have been conditioned to believe all democratic voters are poor, rely on govt handouts, less intelligent, and/or have some malicious/selfish reason behind their voting preferences. I think thats a very lazy and limited view tbh.

They are collectively smart and you dont have to be Steve Hawking to see the GOP doesnt like minorites (of any color or ethnicity). Oh and that anti-intellectual thing on display here 24/7

Assuming this statement is true, then can you provide an answer to the question posed?

And I noted this is another thread: why do people on here always ask "why do _____ vote D" when I think the better question is "why DONT _____ vote R."

I rarely see any kind of racism directed towards Asians. I can understand if one says that the GOP comes across as anti-black or anti-Hispanic, but anti-Asian? Nah.

Your thinking that all conservatives think like this is very lazy and limited tbh.

It's because of the countries they come from. They are generally more about the collective, everybody is the same, etc. Many of them are also athiests.

They don't get the whole limited government thing. That's not how they were raised.

do you ever contribute your actual thoughts to answer a question why something is a certain way? or is everything you post just a smart alec response with racial overtones?

Lesser of two evils would be my guess.

Where did I say all conservatives think like this? Can you not read? I clearly stated "you [OP] and many posters on here."

Where did you get this "all conservatives" thing from?
