MAGA primarying moderate candidates in swing states which were then rejected by the general electorate, because nobody wants to knowingly elect batshit crazy people.

Then claiming all of them were cheated thus reinforcing the batshit crazy.

IMO, unrealistic expectations to begin with, as well as infighting and ill-intentions amongst the right itself leading to much weaker voting participation - which counted against Republicans heavily in some very high profile races.

Trump picked lousy candidates and McConnell tanked others. No clear message. I also think Repubs consider it a winning strategy to keep things off balance so they can play opposition party and won't be blamed for standing in the way.

Had some really bad candidates, but the real answer is COVID. It allowed “everyone” to vote for like 2 months and by mail-in. Somehow, we had like 10x the number of mail-ins than ever before, but the % of ballots having an error was lower…..they also just mailed ballots to everyone and allowed anyone to pick up the ballot.

There are more registered Democrats than Republicans….therefor, the extra votes, legitimate or not, was going to favor the Dems big

frick China - it was the plan all along

Mail in voting

Democrats riling up the sloots by saying the GOP was going to abolish abortion nationwide if they didn’t get out and vote.

Too much free shite being handed out.
