That's actually a good question.
I think that 'leaking' something as explicitly private as tax returns would have raised more than a few eyebrows. Trump would have had a very easy cause for litigation.
The alleged wiretapping was, one assumes, at least legally acquired through FISA courts. There is no legal means for dumping someone's tax info.

No way this is a gotcha on this board man. You can't "get" lunatics. Not a doubt in mind that the regulars on here had several (ridiculous) reasons ready to roll on this issue. Of course none of those reasons could ever be that Obama is a law abiding human being and would not break the law to ensure that someone loses an election. But I definitely wanted to see what the crazies on here had cooked up on this issue.

because there is absolutely nothing there to complain about and if he released it they couldn't keep crying about it.
