Asking a bunch of white people about the black experience isn't going to give you any answer worth a shite. It's like going up to a German guy and asking "what's it like being Japanese?" He couldn't know. He could guess, but it ain't the real deal

Racism goes to a state of mind so I'm reluctant to call anyone a racist. However, in the case of young black males there is hardly a demographic more void of social skills then this group. Many of them appear to have little or no ability to relate to anyone outside of their own demographic and that lack of ability to identify with others may appear to be racism. Or it could simply be racism in some cases.

Nobody on here gives a damn about "answers" or "constructive dialogue." Its a bunch of guys, mostly white, who just want to anonymously vent and bitch about blacks because they are too pussy to do so IRL. Imagine if I started a thread entitled "Why are there so many old white racist?" I would get slammed with 50 down votes and the thread would get wacked in 5 minutes. Want to start one about black people being so racist? Sure, go right ahead.

Or maybe like in my work situation, blacks can say whatever they want with no repercussions and a white guy says one word that can be slightly interpreted as racist and he is turned in to HR. You think that could have something to do with quelling speech?

You said," pussy" implying that many are silenced from fear. I am only saying that many are silenced out of the real possibility that they could lose their jobs over what they say. I don't consider that," pussy" just prudent.
And give me one topic or platform where people aren't more bold in their speech when it's anonymous? This would be the same if the topic were LSU football.

If it was acceptable to bitch/moan (TAKE ACTION) IRL, then people would see it the way I/some of you do. As profoundly stupid as it is in 2014, the misguided and taboo topic of race/racism remains something that people are not able to discuss at workplaces, no matter the direction of the cogitation. Unless one does not value his/her job, race is simply not discussed and I would bet 80 percent of this forum (those who do work) work with other races. I work with as many as 10 on a daily basis. Race -- never discussed.

Essentially you are agreeing with his argument.
Both whites and blacks have advantages and disadvantages based on race. Anyone who thinks or says otherwise should not be taken seriously.
This Ferguson crap is a smoke screen. The media has done shite like this for years. Look at the distraction it has caused on this one tiny board and multiply it by America.

Well then please enlighten us about black culture. Maybe we'll stop making these threads. Many of the threads on race are not bitching, some people are generally curious and want to understand.

Probably because they commit more crimes. It seems that each time a murder is committed in this area, black or white, the murderer has a record as long as your arm. They aren't behind bars from going to church.
