Why are the media and our politicians so silent about ANTIFA?

President Trump finally called them out last night however the MSM and most all politicians never mention ANTIFA. They always refer to them as counter protesters. They mention all other alt-left groups like the Black Panthers, BLM, Code Pink, etc. but not ANTIFA.

They don't ever mention the group names of the right either. My take is they don't want to give the individual groups any more attention than necessary. Any press is good press right?

i think the non-prog DEMs are scared that ANTIFA will disrupt their events

The dirty little secret is the Dems need these groups to intimidate the opposition.
Take this for what it is worth:
I had an employee who was friends with one of these professional agitators. My employee said that the agitators are sponsored. Meaning their travel and expenses are picked up by a left leaning activist who doesn't want to get his/her hands dirty.

Antifa operates under the disguise of "fighting for tolerance", which the left eats up with a spoon.
But the problem is, antifa couldn't care less about progressive ideals. Just look at their recent spats against BLM. They want chaos and to end democracy as we know it in this country.
They aren't a true liberal cause, but the left doesn't realize that (yet)

They are against Trump so they like ANTIFA, but they are hoodlums, so they aren't sure what to do about them. I think they are just hoping to ride the negative press about Trump while hoping ANTIFA doesn't blow up in their faces.
