How can this group of sheep be so hate filled?

For being "educated", liberals have no common damn sense.

Chew the gum but don't swallow it. Ok little buddy?

Why does the poli board marginalize all liberals and progressives into a tiny box?

I don't think it's a good idea to generalize, as there are rational and ok liberals out there, but there are definitely some hate-filled and racist liberals on this board.

Leftists and progressives are heavily racist.

You are correct. I should have made that distinction. In fact, I was discussing the difference between liberals and progs with a few of my Young Americans for Liberty friends.

I personally wonder how it is conservatives can all be so positive and happy all the time? I mean, have you seen Sean Hannity? Do you remember those first few years of Glenn Beck? Even when he was sober, just pure, unbridled joy. And don't get me started on how fricking happy Rush Limbaugh is. And the people who listen to him.

Rush is a liberal

I think many of them are like hollow chocolate Easter bunnies.
They look solid but under a thin veneer there's just nothing.
They need something to distract from their emptiness. They become their cause and that's why they are so vicious when it's attacked.

They're raised and lead by single women who hate the world because their arse is fat and no one wants to touch it.

Well, to take your actual op in the spirit it was intended - the phrase "scratch a liberal, and a fascist bleeds" often rings true, with people who seem to have taken up liberalism, or perhaps a staunch anti-racism pro-immigrant identity, mainly because it's what everyone around them is doing, or because they've had liberal parents and a sheltered, easy upbringing, and no taste of what people living on the margins of our society and others are actually like.
And then when it comes to actually helping the poor, homeless, displaced, disabled, disturbed and otherwise in need, they're too busy playing with their fricking iwatches or whatever, but hey, they went to a U2 gig where like 30c of the ticket price went to buy some poor frick a cup of horrible coffee or maybe they have a couple of recurring donations set up, but hands on actually talking to people who need help, who need a friend or just someone to listen? Who need like $20 right now to get somewhere, legit or just to get a fix so they can sleep in the cold without shivering all night. I find some of the people who shout the loudest about wanting a better world for everyone are least willing to commit, and when they do they're scared off because, guess what, abused kids and adults who've been shite on all their lives can be downright fricking unpleasant to deal with even when you're being paid to do so.
I've done social work, I've worked with abuse victims and abusers, I've been around, but I grew up in an absolute shithole of a place surrounded by people (other than my mother) who either needed help, were perpetuating abuse and often both at the same time. I've seen fresh faced people, always liberals for some reason, no older than myself (was doing social work between age 25 and 30) come in, start off, get upset that a person they were trying to help treated them like shite, and develop a harsh "serves you right" holier than thou attitude, if they could hack it at all. I've seen conservative leaning people do it too, for sure, but it's mostly liberals and liberals are, IME, more shocked that the world doesn't suddenly bow down in awe of their sacrifice.

Liberals are extra emotional compared to your normal human. They lash out like children when things don't go their way.
