It is simple.
Republicans fight too many superfluous social issues, catering to boorish dregs, lamenting stupid shite up one side and down the other, propping it all up on some fundamentalist bullshite.
When you drag out abortion and contraception wars amidst population explosions, a reduction in labor demand, and a hated spike in subsidies for the poor, you seem wildly crazy.
I could get down with a republican of the country club, loose moral variety, but hat seldom exists in this pile of shite.

If the group in question views you as right on their issues, you're not going to be bashed for attacking a member of that group who opposes the beliefs held by the majority of said group. That's really not that hard of a concept. Now I don't think someone on Fox bashing Hillary is necessarily being sexist, but I don't think it's that weird that a woman would look at that, a channel that perpetuates the right wing's war on her gender, with some suspicion as to their motives.

The only people who buy into that are uninformed or uneducated. The problem is liberals support big government. Big government runs education. If public education is shitty then you have more stupid people who don't know they're stupid. It's easy to seem like liberals care about them and conservatives hate them because liberals support the system that, unbeknownst to the voter, deprived them of real education.

i'm no palin fan, but her commentary was completely skewed and then turned into a liberal meme. just look at the "i can see russia" shite. she didn't say anything dumb, but once it went through the SNL/daily show/MSN buzz saw, it was turned into a meme or her stupidity
on the other hand you have elizabeth warren lying about being a native, being exposed for it, and then hearing her use SUPER RACIST descriptions (high cheek bones) to justify her lies...and she's protected. hell she's celebrated even more
