How in the world do you know that there is no proof? You partisan Republicans are such morons. Obviously our intelligence community has proof or they wouldn't have stated it. You just haven't seen it yet.

I never thought I would see the day that you have so-called patriotic Americans minimizing Russian influence in our election process. How far the Republican Party has fallen.

Actually, the FBI has said there isn't any proof and that basically the CIA is working on conjecture.

well then it shouldn't be too difficult to provide some kind of evidence to support this

I would imagine its classified. But I would also guess that the report on it that obama is asking for will be declassified.

We need a full investigation with the investigation results being public. I think it needs to be independent of either obama or trump.

But you answered yes. Did you do that based on some kind of actual evidence?

It's so funny to see democrats as being such big believers in the CIA after decades of being the object of their most intense scorn

The current President of the United States not only had an opinion regarding BiBi. He sent the Obama GOTV machine TO ISRAEL to campaign against BiBi. But that is somehow okay... because the great powerful Oz Obama did it?

Russia tried to influence election - For sure. Putin underlings went public on Trump being preferable.

Yes...the American electorate made its decision on the recommendations of Russian bureaucrats.

Even if they did, it still does not change the fact what was in those emails.

It exposed just how corrupt the msm is. They were/are trying to turn the country into a one party state through propaganda. If it takes Russia or whomever it may be exposing what was actually going on, I'm all for it.

Sometimes things are so corrupt that it does take an outside source exposing it because the msm sure as hell isn't since they're complicit. These people are disgusting human beings.

Frankly, I think Hillary Clinton helped Trump more than anything.

Well a security firms identified know who the hackers are COZY BEAR and FANCY BEAR. And they have links to russia.

LINK /

Reality is that most of the large scale hacks come from Russia or China, sometimes Korea. Or anonymous, but anonymous usually claims credit for its work.

1. There is so much so-called hacking occurring across the entire world which reaches even into the CPU used to record this response and carried out by such divergent entities as individuals, commercial entities, government entities (including the US), and academic entities as to make Alger Hiss seem like third string on the JV team.

2. All the claptrap regarding how Russia fixed the election is massive fake news on a scale that would have made the old USSR-version of Pravada proud.

you're speculating, but you posed a question and answered it definitively.

That's not evidence. Now if you wanted to say "I don't know but I trust the people telling me they did" then by all means

Should also be noted that the CIA is an information clearing house, not an investigative body, a la the FBI. It was politically savvy to trot out the DNI, a noted political hack, to make suppositions that could never be verified due to "national security concerns"....Re; Boltons assertions of a possible "false flag".

this is you posing a question of your own and answering it quite definitively

But it's ok to admit that you just don't know

Let's say they were behind the DNC and Podesta hack at this point what difference does it make? Whether is was Russia, China, or some guys that said hey lets go hack some politicians what difference does it make now?

Nothing changes the fact that they were stupid with security and the actual content of the emails from the evil one herself, to her weird campaign manager, and the DNC itself were shady and disturbing.

I believe they were.

Its not that hard.

Do I have detailed knowledge or proof of this? No. But I have a pretty good idea that they were.

I would really like to see an investigation, and assuming that it doesn't look unduly influenced, I will accept whatever they say.

You do realize I work in technology? And while I am not a hacker or involved in InfoSec at all, one of my best friends is a white hat hacker. Its not like I am clueless on the topic.

I really do wish I would have gone into InfoSec. Its been HOT for my entire career.

I don't know why Russia would prefer Trump over Hillary. She single-handily blocked the Keystone pipeline which benefitted Russia and OPEC. An energy independent U.S. would severely reduce oil revenues to the above mentioned parties.
