Who are the military powers of the world?

The UK has reduced their active military personnel and plan further cuts but still maintain a rather robust military budget.

You're not going to frick with them without catching some stiff uppercuts directed back at you.

In terms of the ability to act militarily in a meaningful way on short notice, it would be the US, China, Russia, North and South Korea, India, Pakistan, Israel, and probably Iran.

In terms of most potential strength, it's the first three up above, plus Germany, France, and the UK.

Just until the US pulled those troops out or paid CA rental for those troops to be there. They would not belong to CA.

Russia is the strongest European power. They can put power into Europe, Asia, and Middle East. Can stand toe to toe with US for a short while outside their borders. Can devastate US with nukes.

China is the strongest Asian power. The can project power east into Japan, north into Siberia, and west into Middle East. Can stand toe to toe with US only close to border. Would have to quickly go nuclear in a conventional war against our navy. Cannot strategically go past US west coast.

US only modern world power. Can project power unilaterally into South America, Africa, and all the worlds oceans. Strong factor in Asia and Europe because of alliance systems. Can devestate any country nuclearly.
