Most white people do. When you are the ethnic group in the position of majority and power, it benefits you when the fruits of society flow to you. When that power starts getting eroded, you get the backlash we see now that has been created as a result of income and opportunity inequality. Unless you lessen the division between haves and have nots, whites and nonwhites, tension will continue to be created and get worse between groups. Unbridled consumerist capitalism is an unsustainable economic model for this country and the world. A new, more balanced economic system will have to evolve over the next fifty to one hundred years to balance this out.

bridled consumerist capitalism is an unsustainable economic model

Government intervention into free markets which obliterates the "free" aspect of markets is the cause of failure. Once the Government transforms the once free market into a Government-dependent entity which ultimately fails due to politically motivated intervention then the Government can declare the failure of the free market concept and then declare that it must execute the ultimate intervention and assume total and complete control over all "market " activities.
Works like a charm because people are dumb

It's a 150 year old economic model that doesn't work for the mass of humanity anymore. It benefits a few at the top in mainly western countries. Mass production of more and more shite people don't need scaled up to seven billion people just isn't an economic system that can work on a global level going forward. Where do you put all of that worthless shite? It worked in the late 19th and early 20th century but people are simply going to have to downscale their lives. Americans don't like hearing it because we are spoiled, wasteful and think unbridled consumerism is a right. It's not. It's a privilege we have enjoyed for the last 100 years but it doesn't work for the mass of humanity anymore and causes untold social problems like we are seeing in this country today. And if a more equitable system isn't worked out, social strain will only get worse.

The answer is simple: keep Government out of it and the market will work it out.
There are way too many people like you who are unable to grasp that concept anymore. You've been conditioned to that.

White is a color too! Slaves and poor people built this county. people need to respect the working class and pay better or they won't have a working class at all. Balance between the people!

Any suggestions?

This model does work for the majority of the population. We'll always have those who can't or will not contribute.

1. So why didn't they build Africa before slavery?

2. Lesbian lives do not matter.

3. Europeans don't believe that Roma (gypsy) lives matter. They may have a point.

If you pay attention, you will realize that an anti-white bias pervades the modern western culture.

I wonder why?

seriously? such ignorance is unfortunately, not uncommon among today's public education system product.

3 things you need to learn about, capitalism, economics and freedom, all of which, if you are serious, you are woefully ignorant of.

Interesting and honest input. Consumerism seems to be slightly rooted in selfishness, and unless we want to balance things out a bit, these explicit divisions will
Seem to only grow. There are too many resources in our society for it to be as unevenly distributed/owned.

Did I call for a socialist society? No.

But to think that our current system of gross income inequalities and resource inequalities is adequate and self sustaining is short sighted, and neglectful of any future impacts it may have on the future or this country and our world standing in 70-80 years

so then you aren't willing to admit what you are publicly, but I'd bet in private with your proglibby friends you have annual Che Guevara and Castro parties.

the interesting thing about the free market, is that when govt stops rigging it, capitalism is self adjusting, if there's no demand for stuff it won't be produced. It's actually very self sustaining, it's when the self righteous, and self anointed do gooders in government start mucking up the works and rigging the system for their own benefit that it fails.

and yet down in the hood that relies on public subsidies, obombaphones are rampant, no shortage of designer hoodies, wheel rims and flat screens either... the system hasn't failed it's morons like you that fail.

I've got no problem with inequality. It's called freedom.

You could take all the resources we have, redistribute "equally" and in a few years the same people who wee wealthy would be wealthy, the same people who were poor would be poor.
